CREIS takes part in the 2nd LATInsEnt Workshop

On 17 April, the Link venue at the University of Málaga (UMA) hosted the 2nd LATInsEnt Workshop (Latin Institutions & Entrepreneurship), a research meeting on institutions and entrepreneurship organised by UMA's Chair in Sustainable Entrepreneurship. The Centre for Studies and Research in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation (CREIS) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) took part in this second edition, which brought together researchers from several Spanish universities belonging to the "Institutions and Entrepreneurship" Special Interest Group of the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB).

The workshop was opened by Rafael Ventura, director of the Chair in Sustainable Entrepreneurship, and began with a session on tools and methodologies for designing entrepreneurship strategies. Francisco Rejón, lecturer in Business Organisation and Marketing at UMA, then delivered a session on generative artificial intelligence and the future of knowledge in entrepreneurship and institutions.

The programme was rounded off with two thematic blocks: the first, on institutions and the entrepreneurial university, presented UMA InnTech and new models within the innovation ecosystem; the second, entitled Engaged University, brought together initiatives aimed at bridging art, science and society. The event thus consolidates a forum for academic dialogue on the role of institutions in entrepreneurial activity.
