Want to start a business? Hands-on workshop on entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial skills

On May 14, 2026, the Center for Studies and Research in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation (CREIS) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) held the hands-on workshop "Do You Want to Start a Company? A Hands-On Workshop on Entrepreneurial and Intrapreneurial Skills," aimed at the university's undergraduate students. The activity took place simultaneously at the Sabadell and Bellaterra campuses, bringing training in entrepreneurial skills closer to the entire student community.

The workshop was led by CREIS interns Andrea Macías and Cristina Paredes, together with lecturers Tatiana López and Nicolás Pacheco. The session set out to introduce participants to the first stages of the entrepreneurial process and to spark their initiative through a hands-on, participatory activity, encouraging them to generate ideas, work as a team, and turn the problems around them into value propositions. With a practical and approachable focus, the event strengthened key skills for entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and professional development alike.
