CREIS Members Receive Awards at ACEDE 2025 Conference

Researchers from the Center for Studies and Research in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CREIS) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) have been awarded the Research Prize in the Entrepreneurship Section at the recent Congress of the Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management (ACEDE) 2025.

The research paper "What drives sustainability action? A study on institutional dimensions and their impact on sustainable entrepreneurship," authored by Carolin Maaßen, Tatiana Lopez, and David Urbano, won in ACEDE's Entrepreneurship Section. Additionally, PhD candidate Carolin Maaßen was recognized as a finalist in the ACEDE Early Career Researcher Award category, acknowledging her trajectory as a researcher in the early stages of her academic career.

This recognition strengthens CREIS's position as a leading center in the study of social entrepreneurship and sustainable innovation, fundamental areas for addressing current economic and social challenges.
