UAB to Host UESCOOP 2025 from July 2-4

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) will host the Summer University of Cooperativism (UESCOOP) 2025 from July 2-4. This event has established itself as a space for knowledge generation and critical thinking within the cooperative movement, aiming to position cooperativism as a viable tool to address current challenges.

Under the theme "People at the Center of What?", UESCOOP 2025 will focus on the cooperative business model and key sectors for consolidating cooperativism as a viable option, as well as connecting with the academic world. This gathering represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties between public universities and the cooperative world, following the collaborative path begun at UESCOOP23.

The event will bring together individuals, organizations, and stakeholders connected to cooperativism and critical thinking who are eager to share, learn, and transform. UAB and the cooperative movement share common traits that give meaning to this collaboration, reinforcing both institutions' commitment to a people-centered socioeconomic model.
